In this class we’ll focus on a simple technique that leads to endless choices and unlimited opportunities in creating unique fused glass designs. As the title of the class mentions, we’ll make tapered stacks of glass and fuse them to create rings of color. We’ll discuss about design considerations, glass reactions, using transparent versus opaque glass, and placement of stacks in creating a pleasing composition. As a final project you will create a panel that could be slumped in a platter, tray or used as a standing piece, depending on your choice.
(Note: We exclusively use Bullseye glass for all classes and workshops.)
