Join instructors Dianne Sonnenberg and Kristine Shafer as they guide you through several techniques for how to create unique eye-catching elements to use in your mosaics. The best part is this class is perfect for both beginners and advanced students, as you can approach the techniques at your own level. No prior experience in fused glass is required and all materials are included in the price. 

We will focus on 6 techniques and mediums that can help you expand your mosaic craft:

• Explore a variety of methods for making colorful glass vitrigraph and murrini and nuggets.

• Make your own one-of-a-kind glass pattern sheets.

• Create animal eyes and more with the Stacked Glass technique

• Create smooth or textured tiles for focal points

• Use specialized coldworking tools like ring saws to create soft filigree shapes and textures

You will leave the class with a treasure trove of materials you can add to your next mosaic project.
