An ideal wrap up to our recommended trilogy of core classes, (Fused Glass for Absolute Beginners and Slumping, Draping, Shaping being the other two), this class will teach you how to add texture to the surface of you glass using the sandblaster, several variations of kiln-carving with fiber paper, and more!

Students will also learn how to use sandblasting and careful kiln firing to achieve a beautiful matte finish on glass.

Students will practice and experiment on several large tiles that they can take home for reference.
