Five Projects in Five Weeks

You'll make FIVE complete projects - all great holiday gifts - and learn some new things along the way.

What a great way to get a head start on the gift-giving season! Over the course of 5 weeks you'll make 5 complete bowls, platters or other objects - all raning in size from 8" to 12".

Here's what we will cover:

• "Faux" Woven Bowl: A great (and suprisingly simple) way to make a glass vessel that will have your friends asking "how did you do that?" This technique is also a gift giving favorite because it uses relatively little glass and is quick to fire.
• Coaster Set: Make a beautiful set of coasters using our exceptional selection of glass and frit. We'll kiln-carve "insets" and you'll have several options for final surface texture.
• "Stack Design" Bowl or Platter: If you've been in the studio lately then no doubt you've seen Paul playing with little pyramids of glass - and this is why. Objects made using this technique are cool looking and offer limitless color possibilities - and they may be the best way to turn all your scrap glass into wonderful finished pieces of art.
• Irid-on-Irid Bowl, Platter or Wall Art: You'll be amazed at what you can do with two pieces of iridized glass, a sandblaster and a kiln! Irid-on-irid is a great way to create glass art with lots of sparkle."
• Crazy Bowls!: A favorite project from our slumping class, even if you've made one before you'll enjoy making what may be the most efficient (and awesome) fused glass project around. Another way to turn your scrap glass into wonderful holiday gifts - with just one kiln firing!

We have two sessions of "Five Projects in Five Weeks" before the end of the year. Based on customer feedback we expect both to fill up very quickly.
