Cottage Lanterns
This new class is yet another innovation brought to you by the creative minds at Helios Kiln Glass Studio and Artisan Stained Glass.
We’ll spend 3 weeks at Helios making miniature side lights and transoms that we’ll be added to a copper foil project during the final 3 weeks next door at Artisan.
The result is a big, beautiful, cottage lantern.
Note: This is not a beginner class – all students must have basic glass cutting skills before registering. However, no fusing experience is necessary.
Please note that because this class is collaborative with Artisan Stained Glass that some class policies
are a bit different:
- Tuition must be paid at the time of registration, and is non-refundable, unless class is canceled.
- Class will be canceled if the minimum enrollment of 4 students is not achieved.
- Firing schedules will not be taught in this class - we'll handle this part for you. You are welcome to stay after class to ask questions regarding firing schedules.
- Stained glass tools and supplies are the responsibility of the student and are not included in the tuition. All tools and supplies will be available for purchase.
- Students receive a 10% discount on all tools and supplies while class is in progress (for the duration of the course).
- Dress code - long pants, closed-toe shoes, and safety glasses. As always, if you have an apron, wear it! It helps keep glass and other materials off your clothing.
