Jewelry Fusing: Landscape Bars

Amazing detail & clarity in multi-layered jewelry designs!

In this class you will create two six inch "bars" with incredible depth and fine image detail using our unique layering techniques.

Bars will then be sliced into jewelry-sized sections and finished to near-optical clarity using an efficient combination of coldwork and kilnwork.

Techniques covered include layer design, powder and frit "painting", layer leveling, bubble reduction, fire polishing thick work, and more.

During class you will complete all steps to make several pendant-sized pieces from a single landscape bar and begin a second landscape bar that may be completed during open studio with no additional studio fees.

While we will be working on small pieces during this class, the techniques learned can easily be applied to larger scale work.
