Small Wonders: Cast Glass Jewelry
Learn to make jewelry with unmatched depth and clarity!
In this class you will be introduced to glass casting on a small scale - eliminating many of the challenges and complications that come with large work.
Techniques covered include plasticine model making, mold making, rubber (RTV) "master model" creation, volume calculation, dichroic stacking, firing schedules and more.
The techniques taught in this class allow the artist to make both one-of-a-kind objects and "production" pieces where many glass "copies" are created from a single, master model.
