One Day Workshop: Strips & Stripes

Our "One Day Workshops" are single-session, three hour classes where you get to complete a project in a single sitting - all while learning something new and enjoying the company of other fused glass enthusiasts.

The price includes all materials, firings, and unlimited use of our exceptional coldworking shop for finishing the project on your own time.

In our "Strips and Stripes" workshop you will explore lines and plaids, color overlays and intersections while working with varying thicknesses to achieve evenness and volume control.

Your project will be constructed without a base-layer of glass using strips of transparent and opaque sheet glass and fusing compatible stringers. By carefully varying your strip thickness, you'll be able to arrange stringers without concern for them moving during firing.

After completing your project during the three hour class, we will fire it and slump it in the mold of your choice. Students who wish to coldwork their piece before slumping can do so in our exceptional cold shop at no additional cost.
