One Day Workshop: Double-Decker Checkers

Our One Day Workshops are single-session, three hour workshops where you get to complete a project in a single sitting - all while learning something new and enjoying the company of other fused glass enthusiasts.

The price includes all materials, firings, and unlimited use of our exceptional coldworking shop for finishing the project on your own time.

These projects may look like they're assembled from countless tiny glass squares in colors you've never seen in the Bullseye catalogue - but it is all an illusion!

In this guided project workshop, we'll show you how some clever glass placement and creative color selections allow you to create your own "double-decker checker" project (and have your friends asking how you did it).

In addition to creating your own beautiful bowl or tray, we'll open your eyes to rich and endless possibilities that come with layering colors and teach you how (and why) to fire complex designs without using a base of sheet glass.

You'll complete project assembly during the workshop and, after firing, work at your convenience during open studio to coldwork your project as desired to prepare it for final slumping.
