Float Laminate Techniques
What if you could free yourself from a single manufacturer's palette of glass colors AND dramatically reduce your material costs?
This class shows you how.
If you want to explore the possibilities that come with developing a color palette that is truly your own, Float Laminate Techniques is the class for you.
In this class you will learn to layer thin sheets of inexpensive float (window) glass with enamels, micas, and more to create sheets of glass with unique depth and infinite color options.
Like a ceramic artist who formulates their own glaze, you'll be able to design signature glass sheets to use in your own projects.

This class covers coloring options, firing, and using your glass. Students will make a collection of sample tiles and a small, finished slumped object.
